Save your Laptop's screen

The habit of putting or leaving a book in-between your laptop before closing it is bad. It is dangerous to your screen.
Someone complained of closing her laptop after work; went home and opened up the laptop just to find out that the screen is broken. You might have pressed on the laptop hard and that broke the screen because the book was able to rest on the screen.
Laptops have stoppers in either flap (i.e. the one carrying the keyboard or the one carrying the screen). It is designed to make sure the screen is not being pressed or touched by the other flap and also to ensure that the keyboard is not being pressed too.
So putting a book or anything of that nature in between these flaps can be dangerous to your laptop screen or even to your laptop in general.
In fact, always ensure that nothing is placed in between your laptop before closing it.
And do not bang your laptop just because you want to close it.
