YOU NEED BACKUP (Pls read)
Friend, you need backup. I am writing to let you see reasons why you need backup and see different backup plans you can utilise.
Backup is making copies of your files in another media (environment).
Why do you need to backup?
1) Hardisks can crash.
2) Files can accientally be deleted.
3) Files can be corrupted.
4) Virus could affect your computer.
5) Your machine might fail to work.
How can I backup?
Well the question should be 'where can I backup?' because backup is backup. And how to backup is determined by the media that is to be used for backup.
Where can I backup?
Considering the reasons why you need backup, these are the backup media you can utilise:
1) Flash disk
2) External hardisk (recommended)
3) CD/DVD plate (recommended)
4) Cloud space (internet space whether premium or free)
5) Another computer (recommended)
Other things you can do to avoid confusion in backing your files:
*Label the drive (disk) the date of the backup to help you in sorting out.
*Create different folders for your different kind of files according to their importance or type.
*If you must use an encryption key, also make sure you keep your encryption key safe for the sake of decryption.
*Please do not mind softwares that pose to help you backup. Be sure of the platform you want to use.
*Be sure of the avialability of your media you want to use in case of when you will need your backup.
