Preventive maintenance
Corrective maintenance
Breakdown maintenance
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE is the maintenance a user can handle. They include:
Cleaning your computer (wiping out dust).
Arranging your computer set properly.
Making sure all your connecting cables are lying on safe paths.
Scheduled scanning with antivirus.
Arranging your files.
Defragmentation.
CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE is the maintenance that can be handled only by your Engineer or technician. No doubt there are some PC problems that the user can’t troubleshoot. Mention them? …
Well, whatever problem encountered that is confusing or you can’t handle is recommended to be complained to your PC technician.
BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE is the maintenance done to bring back a dead computer to life. When a major part of your computer is bad, it can cause your computer not to boot-up at all. This problem can be solved by changing the part of the computer totally or getting a technician who specializes on repairing the part to look into it.
