CLEAR COOKIES: Cookies contain your login details to websites you visit which you need to log-in to access. They are stored in your computer so as to save you the time of typing your login details anytime you access such websites. This can only happen if you enable the cookie of your browser. I recommend you always clear your cookies before any session of browsing to avoid mistakenly submitting your login details and site preferences to hackers who are always eager to rip them from you. Clearing your cookies after every session of browsing can also save you from someone tampering with your online accounts in case of theft or loss of your PC or internet-enabled device.
BLOCK POP-UPS AND ADVERTS (Ads): Popups and Ads are sometimes used by hackers to penetrate to your PC through your internet browser. So block popups and Ads and only give permission to those you trust. I will also say here, be mindful of the sites you visit. Don’t visit untrusted sites and be careful of the information they request from you or you deliver to them and be careful of hyperlinks you click on those sites.
MIND THE KIND OF APPLICATIONS YOU INSTALL ON YOUR PC: They may be spywares that are programmed to deliver your account details to their programmers (hackers) without your knowledge. So if there is any application you are using that you do not trust or you don’t know their function, please uninstall. But first make an advise-inquiry before you take action.
MIND WHAT YOU CLICK: Don’t be too much in a hurry when installing softwares or operating your PCs. You can notice some pop-ups or dialog boxes asking for permission to a system file or tool; so you can be sure you are giving permission to the right software.
Don’t Use The Same Username And Password (Esp.) For Different Accounts On The Internet.
STOP VISITING PORN SITES: They are hackers and high-promoters of hacking systems. Avoid them.
EMPLOY TRUSTED SECURITY AGENTS: There are trusted anti-malwares, anti-spywares, and anti-viruses that you can install on your PC. Get the best and employ them against hackers.
